OnlySpoofer's Similarity Detector features a state-of-the-art algorithm similar to those utilized by leading social media platforms to evaluate the similarity between media files. This sophisticated tool meticulously scans through the selected files, performing comprehensive comparisons of each file against all others in the batch. By leveraging advanced techniques in image and video analysis, it ensures an accurate and efficient detection process.

Once the analysis is complete, the detector identifies and flags files that exceed the selected similarity threshold for deletion.

The Detector is one of the most powerful and flexible tools in your arsenal, but differently from some of our other tools, you will need a strategy to use it effectively.

For example, a small minority of subreddits (1-2% of them) have their duplicate detection bots set at the absolute maximum sensitivity, which sometimes may cause files to get detected even after being spoofed. With the flexibility of the Detector, you can easily avoid that by marking that subreddit, and in the future making sure only content that was spoofed and detected above 4-5% (or sometimes more) is used in that subreddit.
